Objection To Government Making You Buy Something

The main objection to the individual mandate is that the government is making you buy something. Hate to tell you this, but all environmental regulations, building codes, etc. require businesses to purchase something. The government makes every business buy workers’ compensation insurance. The question is whether the intrusion on individual liberty is worth the benefits.
