Fourth of July and a New 900 East Road Made Possible by Forced Charity

To celebrate the fourth of July, I hiked with kids up Mount Aire today. This event followed an all-Sunday and all-Monday abstinence from food. (It’s a little experiment I'm doing. I will fast three days in a few months. No, I do not have an eating disorder.)

Through this event, I felt a very interesting sensation. The combined experience felt like running a marathon. I guess the body's pretty slow on the rebound.

Afterward, we enjoyed the traditional barbecue and fireworks. (We arrived five minutes after the fireworks started. Awesome! Perfect!)  Here's what made the quick trip to Murray park possible: a brand new 900 East road made possible by forced charity. Thanks, fellow taxpayers, for the new road! God bless America.
