This was a “new one”: My cold and congestion was so bad, yesterday, that for about five hours, I was hearing double! Yes – hearing double, and in a slightly higher pitch, like a hyper-echo. It made Newt sound doubly smart, pompous, and shrill. Lady Gaga sounded twice the fun, which, together, is an invitation to one's head exploding. Too bad I couldn't have found someone to ball me out. It would have been double the humility.
