Bullied Bus Aide Receives Charitable Cool $650,000

I don't begrudge bus monitor, Karen Klein, pulling down a cool $630,000 in charitable donations after the mercilessness bullying to which she was subjected. The fact is, life isn't fair, windfalls and tragedies strike – willy-nilly – the children of earth, and talents and defects are sprinkled among us.  However, as a talking point, is charity really the most efficient and even-handed societal safety net? Is it enough to equitably disperse assistance to those in need to avert human misery? Would it, alone, end poverty and hardship?
