American journalist, political commentator, and long-time Washington Post op-ed columnist, E. J. Dionne, stated that conservatives whine that liberals throw money at problems (which, yes, there are inefficiencies that need fixing), but then they turn around and throw money at rich people as bank shots to solve problems. At least with liberals, it’s a direct shot.
