Homosexuality and Celibacy

Society decries the orientation of homosexuals, arguing that humanity would cease to exist if we all lived such a lifestyle (which is really not a serious concern).  It is interesting that we do not see celibacy in the same light. Granted, there are differences, but the later argument is equally true for both.
