Looking For American-Made Boots

I will be engaging in my own stimulus of the American economy plan tomorrow. What do you, my active, conservative friends, recommend is the most comfortable, durable, yet economical and mostly made in America adventuring shoe/boot? I've worn Merrell’s (probably made in China) in the past, but they aren't the best during the descent from a mountain.
