The world is aghast! A fellow swimmer revealed that as Michael Phelps was climbing out of the pool, he spotted the Mattel brand underneath his arm. Armed (no pun intended) with probable cause, testing was done. Sure enough, it has been confirmed: Mr. Phelps’ arms are made out of rubber and powered by internal elastic bands (which are wound prior to the race) attached to his pubic bone, and anchored by metal paper clips.
