A good friend of mine (who works on projects that maintain, enhance, or retract electrical power to Utah's rural communities) and I were discussing the irony that rural Utahns seem to be the most adverse to federal, progressive, and democratic policies, yet it is those same policies that have brought these rural communities services. When strict market forces are applied, they wouldn't have those services.
