I told my daughter that inside me are two wolves fighting for dominance. One is the short-term, impulsive, myopic me. The other is the long-term, aspirational, hopeful, far-seeing me.
She then asked me, “Which one is going to win?”
I told her it depends on whether I listen to Fox News/Glen Beck (myopic) or CNN/NPR (aspirational).
