Newt Gingrich is forming a legislative research group to explore drafting and promulgating legislation to morally qualify reporters to be able to ask tough questions of political candidates. Those who are licensed with a green press pass (who must be monk-like) can ask anything. Those with a yellow press pass can only ask questions vetted by the candidates. And those given a red press pass can only ask questions recycled from the Miss America Pageant.
Gingrich further thinks that before people vote, they should pass a constitutional and moral purity exam.
