The following is an actual testimony from a truck company owner in Vernal, Utah. (They run about 60 trucks for the fracking oil operations.)
Q: Do you think you started [road] testing [truckers] after [Mr. & Mrs. John Doe] left?
A: ...I mean the boom was “on” back then [when the Does trucked], and if they held up two fingers and got it right, you hired them. Page 36:21-25, 37:1.
Q: What is page two [of Deposition Exhibit 1]?
A: [It] is a road test examination that we started doing...
Q: And is this something... that you did of [John Doe]?
A: I filled this paper out, but I didn't drive test him.
Q: Where did you get the numbers to put in...?
A: I just wrote them down and made them up.
Q: You made them up out of thin air?
A: Yes...

Q: Would it surprise you that individuals have indicated that [Joe Blow] Trucking sometimes falsifies its DOT records...? Pages 58:23-25; 59:
A: No.
