Aside from its debunked and defrocked, dubious leadership in the likes of Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes, here’s all you have to know about Fox News to know you shouldn’t be watching it. Its infamous leader built it under the philosophy: “Viewers don't want to be informed. Viewers want to feel informed." This is what Fox News founder Chet Collier stated, as Gabriel Sherman noted in his new biography of Roger Ailes, who implemented Chet’s policy.
What does it mean? According to David Frum, surveys suggest that people who rely on Fox News as their primary information source know less about current events than people who watch no news at all.
It appears that based on the fatuity and fallacious comments of many President Trump supporters, whose primary source of information is Fox News and Russian-promoted news outlets, this is self-evident.
