What is a life worth? (Answer: nine million)

What is a life worth? Perversely, it can be valued in accordance to how much money we are willing to expend to kill someone who is a menace to the world.

Last week, the U.S. used the MOAB (Massive Ordnance Air Blast) bomb to kill 36 ISIS fighters. According to the "Business Insider," that cost "$314 MILLION" to do. That's nine million per fighter.

How much are we willing to spend to save a life that is a treasure to the world?

I realize it is an overly simplistic question and analogy, because it is easier to destroy than it is to build, and sometimes, the destroyers must be chased to the ends of the earth. However, it is still worth asking: How much does it cost to save a life?

The reality is that it takes very little, and we need to be about that business more than the other. So, take some time to save a life, and do it today.
