Poor President Trump. Yesterday, he lamented, “Look at the way I’ve been treated lately, especially by the media. No politician in history, and I say this with great surety, has been treated worse or more unfairly.”
Hearing these words brought me to tears. Why? Aside from the fact that his statement is not true, President Trump holds no grip on truth and reality. After all, some presidents have been treated much worse: They were shot! President Trump is treated fairly for how he has acted badly, due to his poor judgment or complicity. Time will probably bear both out.
In any event, I still cry because he is so ridiculous, intemperate, and narcissistic. You just can't laugh anymore. All you can do is cry, and hope the Republicans develop a backbone, soon.
