I am far from “fawning” over Hillary Clinton, but I will be damned if I will delve into the ridiculous contrivances that have been perpetrated against her because she’s a woman, because she has taken a stance as being pro-choice, because she is married to a philandering husband, or because she has, as all politicians have (both Republicans and Democrats), legally traded her political connections for private enrichment.
I think these contrivances should become illegal. Republicans like trading political connection for self-enrichment more than I do, and they would perpetuate it as long as it just favors their candidates.
People criticize Hillary for not using the language that others desire to use, and then claim it is some type of dishonesty. This is ludicrous and a form of dishonesty and manipulation in and of itself.
The only other valid criticism of her is the email debacle. That issue pales in significance to the types of illegal corruption, malfeasance, and criminality in which many politicians and Donald Trump actually do engage.
Hillary Clinton is reliable, hard-working, intelligent, understands politics, and will not embarrass us as a country, nor give in to authoritarian and despotic tendencies that I am sure Donald Trump will.
There are many despots and criminals that have made millions and millions of dollars. Just making or having money does not make them good presidential material. Enriching himself is Mr. Trump’s only redeemable quality. Unfortunately, Mormons – especially Utah Mormons – think that wealth is next to godliness. They view any kind of economic success as moral success. Frankly, it’s sickening.
