Jobs – Easy to Create, Hard To Empower

Any government can create jobs, but any job that doesn't create value is a drag on the economy. That is the challenge: creating jobs with value that can sustain a nation, and are not overcome by fustian endeavors.

Fustian endeavors include: the crucial jobs, like those discharged by our soldiers, police officers, physicians, and attorneys; the spirit-enriching jobs, like those performed by our artists, philosophers, dreamers, and priests; and dispensable jobs inhabited by those clinging to obsolete technologies, unsustainable resources, and expired phenomenons.

Always keep this in mind: While we need some of these fustian occupations, no nation can survive an imbalance of too many soldiers, dreamers, typewriter manufacturers, wall builders, or jugglers.

So, who best can achieve that balance?
