There is much to be gained by understanding this: If masturbation was as emotionally and physically satisfying, and as pleasurable as sexual intimacy with a partner, and if having children and a family was no more than a mere consequence and by-product of sexual intimacy (as opposed to the actual desire to have and raise children), there would be very few children, and even fewer marriages.
Don’t forget these points when discussing the issues, ignorance, imbalances, idiosyncrasies, and idiocies surrounding the topic of sexuality and bonding.
