Fifty years ago, on March 4, 1966, John Lennon stated that “[the Beatles were] more popular than Jesus,” and that “Jesus was all right.” However, Lennon was condemned, because he did not pander.
What did a real leader and Christian conservative say about Christ? Republican Warren Harding said that, “Christ was the Prince of Peace, and we who seek to render His name glorious must move in the ways of peace and brotherhood and loving service."
