My experience as an attorney (which I realize many dismiss) has taught me many things about human behavior. I find it interesting that millions wholly discount and dismiss all of the many women, including Mr. Trump’s former wife, who have “come out” against him due to his sexual improprieties, yet ascribe complete verity to all that anyone has ever claimed about the Clintons.
I have no doubt that there may have been some who, due to psychological or other issues, have made claims and sworn falsely against both Donald Trump and Bill Clinton. In fact, that has been shown in the case of Bill Clinton.
Many of the allegations against the Clintons have been fully vetted and have not led to any criminal prosecutions, arrests, or convictions. I have listened to snippets of statements taken out of context and used against the Clintons, and have noticed that no such “extreme vetting” has occurred with Mr. Trump.
While I am inclined to propose that both be deemed innocent until proven guilty, I believe we still must pass judgment as to whether or not what we do know about them will help or harm us if we elect them as president. Therefore, if you think the suppositions and known improprieties of Bill Clinton should have disqualified him for the presidency, Mr. Trump is likewise disqualified for the presidency and we should not, in a hypocritical fashion, vote for him.
Mr. Trump’s life has not been vetted in the same manner as that of the Clintons and I suspect that had it been, there would be even more substantial and damning evidence against him. However, insomuch as we already have sufficient damning evidence against him – from what has poured out of his own mouth – we don’t need the vetting, after all.
On the other hand, other than supposition, misleading accusations, and the paranoid delusions of the conspiracy theorists, there is no such evidence against Hillary Clinton.
She merits our vote. Donald Trump, an unhinged, unbalanced, and deluded narcissist does not.
